Conexus Venture Capital Launches Second Venture Capital Fund


Conexus Venture Capital, a Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada-based local tech ecosystem firm, announced the launch of its second venture capital fund.

Led by Jordan McFarlen, Managing Director, Conexus Venture Capital (CVC) Fund #2 has secured an initial investment of $15M from Conexus Credit Unions with a final target to raise $30M.

CVC Fund 2 aims to support tech startups across Saskatchewan. It builds on CVC Fund #1 and the tech incubator Cultivator powered by Conexus. The first fund ($30m) has representation from nine institutional limited partners, six of which are Saskatchewan credit unions. It made 17 investments into some of the best startups in the Canadian prairies such as 7shifts and Coconut Software. CVC Fund #1 has exited two portfolio companies and has taken secondaries on another two portfolio companies.
