Kidron Capital Assets, a Tel Aviv, Israel-based venture capital firm, held the first close of its fund dedicated to women’s health.

The vehicle will target untapped opportunities in Women’s Health across Europe, the USA, and Israel.

Led by Founding and Managing Partner Maria Gajda Horowitz and Co-founding and Managing Partner Anula Jayasuriya (Harvard MD, PhD, MBA), who both have profound investment and industry expertise in the HealthTech sector, Kidron is positioned at the intersection of healthcare innovation and untapped investment potential. The firm’s portfolio encompasses a diverse array of sectors, including medical devices, diagnostics, digital health, therapeutics, and services.

The fund has already made investments in U.S.-based companies, including:

  • Beyond Medicine, which provides solutions redefining human health span by targeting mitochondrial health, improving skin rejuvenation and alleviating menopausal symptoms.
  • Portal: which is advancing a scalable solution for oncology clinics.
  • Renal Guard, a provider of a clinically validated solution to prevent Acute Kidney Injury (AKI), a risk heightened for women during cardiac surgeries.
