Outlier Ventures and The National Technology Development Program Launch Web3 Accelerator Program in Saudi Arabia

Outlier Ventures, a global Web3 accelerator, teamed up with the National Technology Development Program (NTDP) of Saudi Arabia, to launch a new Base Camp Web3 accelerator program to the Kingdom.

The MoU will bring the deep tech Web3 accelerator program to Riyadh, starting later in 2024. It will focus on supporting promising Web3 startups in the Kingdom in line with the Saudi Vision 2030.   

The selected startups will receive support from Outlier Ventures’ team of subject matter experts, covering several aspects such as product development, entity structuring and token design. The chosen teams will also have direct access to mentors and investors in the Web3 industry.

Led by Stephan Apel, CEO and Founding Partner, Outlier Ventures is a global Web3 accelerator focused on supporting Web3 founders from around the world, running programs with industry partners. With a global portfolio of over 300 startups, notable alumni include Boson Protocol, Futureverse,  IOTA, Ocean Protocol, along with Fetch.AI and Biconomy who are based in the MENA region.  

The National Technology Development Program (NTDP) is a national program in Saudi Arabia that contributes to enhancing the effectiveness of technology ecosystem by achieving a sustainable development using various components in collaboration with the stakeholders. Its goal is to facilitate Saudi Arabia’s transformation into a leading global Technology Hub by 2030 and to strengthen the Saudi tech-ecosystem with innovative financial solutions.
