PwC Israel Collaborates with OurCrowd’s Israel Resilience Fund

PwC Israel is partnering with OurCrowd, a Jerusalem, Israel-based venture investor, to provide business support to portfolio companies in OurCrowd’s Israel Resilience Fund.

PwC Israel will provide business development, dedicated mentorship and other support to startups in the fund.

OurCrowd also announced that commitment by investors to the fund had increased to $17m, enabling it to increase funding from 8 to 34 startups, of which half are outside the existing OurCrowd portfolio.

Founded by CEO Jon Medved in 2013, OurCrowd is an online global venture investing platform that empowers institutions and individual accredited investors to invest and engage in emerging technology companies at an early stage. The firm vets and selects companies across all sectors and stages, invests its own capital, and provides its global platform of over 230,000 registered members from 195 countries with access to co-invest from as little as $10,000 in the companies of their choice.

OurCrowd has over $2.3 billion in commitments, and deployed capital into more than 440 portfolio companies and 56 funds across five continents. To date, OurCrowd’s startups have recorded 63 exits including several public market listings: Beyond Meat (BYND), Lemonade (LMND), Innoviz (INVZ), Arbe (ARBE), Alpha Tau (DRTS), Freightos (CRGO); and numerous high-profile acquisitions: JUMP by Uber, BriefCam by Canon, Argus by Continental, Crosswise by Oracle, Replay by Intel, Corephotonics by Samsung, CyberX by Microsoft, and Kenna Security by Cisco.
