Starling Bank is a digital bank for personal and small business accounts. As a technologist, banker and now an entrepreneur who has disrupted the banking sector, Anne Boden, MBE, is a regular speaker and commentator on the role of technology and innovation in modern life. After beginning her career in Lloyds Bank, Boden held senior positions in some of the world’s leading banks before launching Starling Bank in 2014. She is chair of the government’s women-led high-growth enterprise taskforce, which aims to increase the number of high-growth businesses founded and led by female entrepreneurs and which is due to report in Spring 2024.

In her latest work, Boden weaves together the experiences of leading women entrepreneurs and VC investors, offering insights on every aspect of launching a high-growth business.

Female Founders’ Playbook offers a guide to nurturing a venture from coming up with an idea through to building a team and fundraising in a world where only approx. 2% equity investment goes to female founding teams.

Female Founders’ Playbook aims to celebrate the real-life stories of women to inspire and empower the next wave of female entrepreneurs.

The book, published by Kogan Page, will be available for purchase on 03 March as a paperback priced £16.99.
