Red Dot Capital Partners Appoints Lidor Sigron as Principal

Red Dot Capital Partners, a Tel-Aviv, Israel-based venture capital firm, appointed Lidor Sigron as a Principal.

He will lead the assessment of new investments, and work with the founders of the fund’s portfolio companies.

Lidor Sigron joined Red Dot about three years ago and was involved in all of the fund’s investments during this period, including Granulate, which was acquired by Intel for $650M. Prior to joining Red Dot, he was a senior consultant in the Transaction Advisory Services department of EY Israel, where he had developed an expertise in assessing the fundamentals and economics of private and public technology companies. Lidor Sigron is a Certified Public Accountant and graduated with honors with a degree in Accounting and Economics from Tel Aviv University.

Founded in 2016 by Yoram Oron and Yaniv Stern, joined by partners Barak Salomon, Atad Peled, and Danielle Ardon Baratz, Red Dot manages $450M of AUM across two flagship funds and an opportunity fund, and recently announced the first closing of its third early-growth fund of $250M. Among the fund’s investments are Global-e (NASDAQ: GLBE) which went public in 2021 and currently trades at a $6.5 Billion market cap, Armis, which was purchased by Insight Partners and CapitalG for approximately $1.1 Billion, Granulate, which was acquired by Intel for $650M, Coralogix, Travelier, Quantum Machines, Paragon, Trigo, Ctera, EverC, and Supplant.

The fund’s investors come from Southeast Asia and Japan, Europe, and the USA.
