GV Promotes Three To Investing Partners

GV (fka Google Ventures) announced three new promotions: Karthik Ardhanareeswaran, Sherry Chao, and KJ Sidberry are the newest investing partners at the firm.

Ardhanareeswaran and Chao focus on life sciences and therapeutics investments. Sidberry specializes in early-stage consumer investing.

GV continues to expand its investment geography and team across the U.S. and Europe. These promotions follow several new investors joining the team in 2023, including Luna Schmid, Roni Hiranand, and Michael McBride.

Launched as Google Ventures in 2009, GV focuses on supporting founders at the earliest stages of company-building. Its operating partners work to support startups across design, equity, diversity & inclusion, talent, and engineering. GV also helps startups interface with Google, providing access to the world’s best technology and talent.

Today, GV has over $8 billion in assets under management, over 400 active portfolio companies across North America and Europe, and notable investment outcomes including Uber, Nest, Slack, GitLab, Duo Security, Flatiron Health, Verve Therapeutics, and One Medical.
