Laton Ventures, an Amsterdam, The Netherlands-based venture capital firm focused on gaming, started its investment activity.
Led by Founding Partner Görkem Türk and empowered by a network of gaming industry veterans, Laton Ventures invests predominantly in early stage gaming companies. Using its industry expertise, the firm primarily invests in pre-seed and seed stages. Laton boasts seasoned and connected gaming startup founders as its investors, who will also operate as mentors in key areas such as game design, product management, marketing (user acquisition) to the aspiring startups in its portfolio.
With location agnostic approach, Laton invests in gaming content, services and infrastructure teams all over the world.
The firm has just announced its second investment in Sequel Games, a mobile gaming company based in Sweden co-founded by Andy Muesse, Matthew Stone, William Wennergren and Omer Mujahid. In November, Laton unveiled the investment in Layer, a provider of an AI-powered productivity tool for gaming companies.
