Heartcore Capital Raises €15M for First Web3 Fund

Heartcore Capital, a Copenhagen, Denmark-based crypto native venture capital firm, raised €15m ($16.3m) for its first Web3 fund.

The fund will back startups advancing application layer protocols, including DeFi, gaming, social, software, DeSci. They typically do not lead private rounds, with checks spanning from $250k to $500k.

Led by Yacone Ghalim, Heartcore Capital is an early stage venture capital fund Since 2007, they have backed some of Europe’s biggest category-defining companies, such as Tink, Neo4j, Boozt, Peakon, Seriously and TravelPerk. So far, they have invested in over 100 founding teams from 13 different countries. In the Web3 space, the firm has already invested in such companies as Panoptic, Elusiv, Li.Fi, Superform, Rhinestone, and MakerDAO, among others.

The team also includes: Angelo P. Goepel (Berlin), Yohan Pereira (Paris), and Thor Hartvigsen (Copenhagen).
