KFund Launches €80M Seed Fund

Kanoar Ventures (or KFund), a Madrid, Spain-based venture capital firm, launched an €80m fund.

The new fund, KFund3, will be focused on those founders working with foundational technologies such as data plays, AI, and platform layers to help them lay the foundations for future growth thanks to the team’s experience as founders and executives of technology companies, and with the ability in the region to support them from pre-seed to Series B through their family of funds.

Founded in 2016, Kanoar has already invested in over 70 category defining companies including Factorial, Urbanitae, Exoticca, Barkibu, and Abacum, among others.

They have managed five funds and have approx. €500m assets under management. The firm invests €100k to €10M in entrepreneurs with the capacity to create differentiated technology-based products and services, mostly in Southern Europe and Latam.
