IW Capital, a London, UK-based investment firm that has, to date, invested over £140m of growth capital in UK SMEs, appointed David Fisher as Senior Investment Director.
Fisher, who has over 20 years of experience in venture and growth investing, joins IW Capital following a period at Sussex Place Ventures and 12 years at Edge Investments prior to that.
Before joining Edge, Fisher spent 10 years at two other fund managers including Elderstreet Investments, which is now part of Molten Ventures. He also held positions in M&A Advisory and strategy consulting at Deloitte and KPMG.
Fisher has a demonstrable track record of investing in a range of sectors including software, media and consumer technologies, marketplaces, SAAS and business services. He has extensive board experience helping the founders he has backed to drive growth and to achieve their goals.
