Elsewhere Partners Expand Investment Team

Elsewhere Partners

Elsewhere Partners, an Austin, TX-based growth-stage investment firm, added Joseph Braun, Ben Pfeffer and Ryan Wallace to the team, and promoted Cody Younkin to Senior Associate.

The new team members will allow Elsewhere to provide a sound bench of seasoned resources for the firm’s portfolio while strategically growing its investment pipeline.

Braun, Pfeffer and Wallace have joined the team as investors and will work closely with the firm’s extensive operating advisor network to provide support across all stages of research, sourcing, due diligence, and execution for Elsewhere Partners’ current and future portfolio.

Prior to joining Elsewhere, Wallace was a Senior Associate at Cypress Growth Capital, where he was responsible for sourcing and executing investment opportunities, as well as supporting the firm’s existing portfolio companies. He previously served as an Analyst at both Anthos Capital and Cofounders Capital, where he supported enterprise software sourcing activities. He earned his B.A. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Prior to joining Elsewhere, Braun held business development roles at Grata, a private company intelligence engine, and Selby Jennings, an executive search firm. He earned his B.A. from Tufts University.

Pfeffer was previously the Director of Development at Notley, where he led philanthropic fundraising activities.  He also was a Consultant at West Monroe Partners and an Analyst at Next Ventures. Pfeffer earned his B.A. from the University of Texas at Austin.

Before joining Elsewhere Partners as an Associate in 2021, Younkin spent four years in investment banking at D.A. Davidson where he executed M&A and growth equity transactions for technology companies across the B2B software, infrastructure, and security sectors. Prior to D.A. Davidson, he served as an equity research assistant at SGL Investment Advisors, where he helped develop internal software tools for investment decision making and assisted in portfolio analysis. Younkin earned his B.S. degree in Finance and Management Information Systems from the University of Montana in Missoula, where he graduated with high honors.

Led by Chris Pacitti, founder and partner, Elsewhere Partners is a growth-stage investment firm that invests in Elsewhere Outliers – business software companies that are located outside of traditional venture capital hubs and have achieved substantial customer traction and revenue growth without significant outside funding. The firm combines transitional capital with transformational expertise to help companies achieve exit readiness on their own terms.
